Hello. I’m Ralph, a self-taught accountant by profession, a baker and homebrewer by passion, and a tour guide by calling. For over 20 years, I worked in the corporate world, mostly in cross-border projects, within auditing firms, law offices, and multinational companies, always surrounded by different cultures and a connected to a wide variety of people. Then I realized many of my natural talents, especially my desire to serve and bring a little joy to the world through genuine human connections. So, I took a leap of faith with a voluntary severance program to follow my true calling. I´m a certified Tour Guide since 2019 and the Sustainability Director of a tour guide association, actively engaged in accessibility causes, with experience guiding tourists who are blind or in wheelchairs, helping visitors discover the best of Rio de Janeiro. The highlight of my tours is showing travelers the real Rio, the hidden gems. Rio has many charming and fascinating places, such the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer to the vibrant Lapa, the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, and the peaceful nature of Tijuca Forest. One of my personal favorites is Santa Teresa, a neighborhood full of art, color, and incredible views. I love adding authentic touches to my tours: tasting local food, visiting small markets, or listening to samba in places that tourists rarely find. My tours are relaxed, immersive, and full of good vibes, perfect for anyone who wants to feel like a local while discovering Rio at their own rhythm. My main goal is to help travelers make their dreams come true while visiting Rio. Feel free to contact me so we can plan and personalize your tour, to make it unforgettable! Can’t wait to share my Rio with you!
