I am a Carioca (born and raised in Rio), who lived in Hamburg, Paris, London , and Manaus and since 1986 have been back to my home city. Overview of your Rio De Janeiro tour
The Carnival Experience tour program will introduce you to the universe of the Rio's samba schools. You will see the backstage where we create the greatest show on earth. Getting in the mood: costume layout to wear and take pictures. Samba Flavour: welcoming caipirinhas (Brazilian Cocktail). Samba Class with a Passista (Samba teachers)! We will end our tour at Sambadrome where the real action happens every year. What I like the most about this tour is that we have access to all phases and steps in the process that creates this most spectacular show, which is considered to be the greatest popular manifestation in the world.
Your Rio De Janeiro tour itinerary
Itinerary will be the following: - We shall drive strait to the Samba school for our visit that takes roughly 2 hours. - After that we head to Sambadrome where the real action takes place during Carnival. - After that you can either be driven back to your hotel or ship or a site of your choice (e, g. a restaurant, a museum, the beach). Tour can be customized upon request.
