I'll pick you up at your hotel in Brussels and bring you by train to Leuven, a medieval university city with lots of possibilities and a young atmosphere. A guided tour of 4 hours will bring you along the Market Place with the townhall and the St-Peterschurch. The Old Market Place and the university buildings with the hidden corners will have no secrets anymore for you. The grand beguinage from the 13th century will take you back into time when the beguins were living. As Leuven was a martyr city in the First World War, this history can't fail in the tour. And of course the biggest brewery in the world, AB Inbev once started in 1366 in Leuven and is now producing the famous Stella Artois. Don't miss this daytrip now you are so close ! Have a look at my other tours in Leuven !
