Hello World ! Belgium Calling ! I am Peter and Belgium is my home. Over 40 years I traveled professionally as a Tour Conductor with groups to destinations all over the world. Amazed about the beauty of each destination I had the pleasure of visiting. Privileged I had the chance to get acquainted to friends world wide. ​ Every time I came back to my home country I was both frustrated and impressed by our tiny country. Frustrated because so few people in the world seem to know us and Belgians seem to be the worst anti-chauvinists. Impressed by its beauty, its wonderful historic cities, its nature and its culture and heritage. ​ I retired from my job in tourism in June 2019 and am now a full time guide. I am an official City Guide in Antwerp. Brussels, Ghent, Bruges and our beautiful rivers (as a guide on river cruises) came next on the list. Flanders Fields (WWI) and Bastogne (WWII) are often visited by my guests. I want to share my knowledge and passion for Belgium to all of those whom I guide. Apart from my experience as a tour guide and a city guide I am also a specialist in Belgian Beers - the Belgian Beer Culture is a Unesco heritage - and I had the pleasure of attending courses at the Callebaut Chocolate Academy. Let me share my knowledge of my country on your next visit. A regular tour can be booked here but I prefer to work tailor made. I can offer either walking tours or driving/guide you around in my luxury Van seating 5 passengers.
