FULL DAY in Bruges with a private local guide

Flavia arranged for a wonderful driver, Sandy, to meet our family of 4 at the cruise ship dock in Ghent for a day in Bruges. One of our family members has limited mobility and used a wheelchair. Flavia was extremely mindful and considerate of our needs. She took us to all the key sights, found a great place for lunch (despite a lot of Sunday closures), and cleverly made sure different members of our party could split off briefly for different experiences - her flexibility improved the ease and convenience of the day. Most importantly, Flavia is very knowledgeable about the city and well spoken in sharing her passion about what we were seeing. She also knows the best picture spots! Flavia made arrangements for the driver to drop one of our party at St Bavo’s Cathedral in Ghent while the remaining party headed back to the cruise ship. Without requesting it, Flavia provided a map of Ghent with a brief overview and tips for a solo walking tour. Thoughtful, flexible, knowledgeable and fun - what more can you ask of a guide? Thank you, Flavia, for one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip!

Flavia was very passionate about her adopted city and was happy to adapt little things, including when t he taxi dropped us off at the wrong place! Would definitely recommend Flavia for any tour in and around Flanders.

Flavia was an exceptional guide who went above and beyond! My wife and I had visited Brugge twice before but wanted her parents to experience the joy and wonder with a professional guide. Flavia was a perfect choice and we learned many new things and saw new sights too! When messaging Flavia in the months leading up to our tour, she was even able to arrange private transportation for us from Brussels to Brugge & then from Brugge to Antwerp. Flavia knew this city so well &really connected with our family in a personal way. When I mentioned that we loved the Hallmark movie "Love, Romance & Chocolate", Flavia took us to the chocolate shop used for filming and introduced us to the owner! She showed us on a map which route we took as she highlighted it & called out areas to visit on our own. She provided great restaurant recommendations too! Flavia was excellent & we loved the tour!

Flavia was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, understood exactly what our interests were. She was flexible, took us to beautiful places off the beaten path and the combination of walking and biking was perfect.
