With over 400 flights in the last 25 years, I can say "I've seen something" but just seeing something is not enough. as a passionate traveler, I always looked for the added value, like the stories behind each place, the small and funny, or the tragic big pictures... The All Day Ghent & Brugge tour with Levi Y. was fantastic!! Levi made the city of Ghent come alive with his extensive knowledge of the history and stories that made you go back in time. The city was beautiful and St. Bavos and the Ghent Altarpiece were the highlight for me. Levi made the day unforgettable.
Very informative tour with a knowledgable and articulate guide. It's a lot to cover in one day, but Levi did a great job of making that work. Also, good comparison and contrast between Bruges and Ghent.
We had a blast with Levi, rhymes with heavy. Knowledgeable and witty. Flexible and charismatic. I can't say enough about my new friend Levi, rhymes with chevy. Oh my gosh, get him to tell you the story of the... Levi picked us up at the Zeebrugge, cruise port. I developed an instant bromance with him. So nice and welcoming. He took us to Ghent and showed us all the sights. He gave us the down and dirty history of Ghent. The haves and have nots and which side of the river they live on. He told us all about the Guilds and the state houses. He even let us know why the swans are facing away from each other. We ended up in Bruges, because it's closest to the ship. (Always thinking that Levi, rhymes with bevy). Where he made sure we got the best deal on some of the worlds best Chocolates. His wife is a chocolatier, so that is saying something. We all cried at the end of our tour. Frank
We had a great tour with Levi - he was really fun and gave us a good history of the cities, places we stopped at, etc. Lots of fun, showed us many things we would have missed on our own - will definitely recommend him for tours..
- Pick-up at any point in Brussels - We will drive to North-West for about an hour and a half in the Flemish region to the city of Bruges - We will visit a unique beer brewery, an ancient red-light street, and the magnificent Notre-Dame cathedral - Cross the charming Saint-Bonifas and Saint Nepomucenus bridges and admire the Grote market, the Belfre, and the Burg square. - After lunch break, we return to the car, enjoy chocolate tasting and drive about an hour East to the vibrant city of Gent, the city packed with students and monuments, where we will see the three magical churches, the Graslei and Kornlei, the citadel, the fish market, and the Vriedagmarkt. - Return back to the agreed drop-off point
