Discovering Brugge by walking or cycling.

Referred to as "the Venice of the North"; Bruges is one of the most visited medieval cities in Europe. In 1999 listed as UNESCO world heritage for its historical center, its amazing canals and its important contribution to the development of the region during the middle ages. The tours will normally start at the "Lake of the Love" the most romantic place in Belgium, named as such by the French poet Victor Hugo. Afterward, we will walk through the most breathtaking spots and landscape of this medieval hub. We will visit all it's the historical center, enter to some Romanesque churches, Gothic basilicas and learn about the Flemish Primitives and its masterpieces.

We will start our tour at the Minnewater (lake of love) considered the most romantic spot of the city where you will be able to enjoy an impressive landscape of the city. Later we will walk through the Beguinage of Bruges an ancient medieval community. Once we have seen this two wonderful places we will continue to the Walplein Square where we can find the ancient Brewery "The Halve Maan" and we will stop to try the best beer of Bruges and one of the Best Beers in Belgium called "Brugse Zot" Once we have had the wonderful tasting of this beer we will walk through the Stoofstraat of Bruges, the narrowest street in Bruges. We will also see: *The Old St. John's Hospital, *The impressive Church of Our Lady, *The Dijver Canal, *The Burg Square, *The Basilica of the Holy Blood and *The Main Market Square, among others. Optional: 30 minutes canal cruise ( 8 Euros), and included in the price of the Tour a beer tasting and a chocolate tasting.
