I'm official guide of Flanders (training 2, 5 years) and official guide of the city of Bruges (training 2, 5 years). I have also done several seminars of Medieval art, Industrial history, mythology. . . But most of all, I'm passionate about the amazing cultural and historical heritage of the Belgian cities. And I'm also writer what gives extra thrilling to my stories and the way I explain them. Don't expect a boring tour with me. I love to entertain people with interesting facts, funny anecdotes, sense of humor and tasting experiences. Because food and drinks are basics in the Belgian culture. I speak English, Spanish, Dutch, Catalan and a little of French and Portuguees. Exclusive tours. Overview of your Bruges tour

If you are a medieval buff or simply someone who enjoys a beautiful piece of architecture, Bruges is the place to visit. Most of its streets, alleys and canals still coincide exactly with those of the medieval city. With anecdotes, pictures and the fantastic buildings of Bruges we will almost feel how life must have been like in the Middle Ages. We will walk through the Béguinage, a community of pious women founded around 1244. We will visit a "godhuis", the charitable houses opened by rich people since the 14th century. And in Saint John's Hospital we will know about the medieval medicine and its strange remedies. We will walk along the beautiful canals of Bruges, stopping in the most picturesque places, and we will cross two impressive public squares: the Burg, base of operations of the Count of Flanders since the 9th century, and the Markt, the heart of the medieval trading. Although chocolate was not present in the medieval Bruges, we will taste the Belgian chocolate and we will know why it is so famous.

We enjoyed having Albert as our guide. He was knowledgeable and personable. We went into several court yards and other areas we would not have seen without him. We learned a lot more about Bruges and its history than we would have learned simply walking around the streets on our own. We would recommend him.

My wife and I took a train from Brussels to Brugges to meet Albert for our tour. Even months ahead of tour (we booked early) he provided us advice on which train to take to avoid the biggest crowds. On the day of the tour our train was delayed 25 minutes and he helped us make sure we took the next best option. Very professional and greatly appreciated having never navigated the train system in Belgium. The tour itself was very well done. Albert was very friendly and informative and any accent he had did not challenge us to understand him. He was a wealth of knowledge and shared it with great anecdotes. We would definitely recommend both Tours By Locals (which we have used before) and Albert as guide. Thanks Albert!

Albert was a fantastic guide. Our whole group thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our Bruges tour. He was smart, interesting and funny. He kept our interest for the full 3 hours- no question about it! I would highly recommend, and would take another tour with him if I get the chance in the future.

Albert was amazing - so many mind-blowing history facts, he was entertaining, thorough, thoughtful, everything you would hope for in a tour guide. He taught us a TON about how to "read" architecture that we can use in our future trips. Highly recommend!
