Since 2012 I have been the personal Vienna guide of the most well known travel writer of the United States specializing on European travel and have helped him and his team updating the new editions of his Vienna guide books ever since. I have led not fewer than thousands of tours with small parties of travelers over the years. I was born in 1975. I majored in human sciences at the University of Vienna and graduated in 2000. After having completed my university studies I decided to become a guide for my beloved city and completed the training on the first try by a series of successful state exams 2 years later. Since then I have been working as a licensed, state approved local tour guide making tourists from lots of different countries acquainted with the cultural heritage and the rich history of the Austrian capital Vienna, the unique city I have the privilege to live in. Being a mom of five kids (some of them having grown to young aduts in the meantime though :)) enables me to suitably meet the interests and requirements of families as well while making an attempt to explore Vienna. I am specialized in personal private tours provided for small to medium-sized parties on mostly walking tours but I also cooperate with a fun electric old-timer vehicle. A substantial part of my tours is given outdoors however I act as an enthusiastic guide in indoor sights like in museums, galleries and palaces as well.
