Kunsthistorisches Museum - Led by Art Historian

We could not have asked for a better tour guide to take us through this art museum. Aline gave us a history of the museum and its collection, guiding us through the building and pointing out significant works with background and interpretations. She clearly loves her topic, bringing enthusiasm plus knowledge to our tour. My husband has mobility issues and she arranged the wheelchair in advance, avoiding any stress or worries on our part. Not to mention she gave us great recommendations on local restaurants.

Aline was so knowledgeable and effectively guided us through the tour. She provided a lot of behind the scenes information that you would not get from other audio tours. We traveled with my mom who is a bit older and she always found us a spot to sit and rest as she explained the history behind the art. If you want a tour of this museum, Aline is the one to book with!

Aline is warm, friendly, easy to talk with, and very knowledgeable about art history. She had interesting stories the placed the paintings we saw in cultural and political context. Thoughtfully, she went out of her way to arrange to meet and escort us, my husband and myself, to the museum via the metro because of the traffic blockages due to a marathon being run that day. I highly recommend her as a guide.

Aline was very knowledgeable and passionate about art at the KHM. It's such a large place but she navigated it with ease, even mentioning pieces that were in rotation. I highly recommend working with Aline when you want an art historian to enrich your museum experience and teach you a lot. She helped us hit all the highlights as there are so many masterpieces scattered across the large footprint of the museum. Aline was also great about interacting with our teenage son and helping us find elevators and easy routes. We have worked with many guides but she was one of the most enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about art. She has a good sense of humor and tries to avoid having things become too dry.

An incredible museum with an outstanding guide. Aline is an art history major and takes time to explaining the various pieces of art you will see. (Note the museum is large with a huge collection - you can extend your visit if you want to see more). The building itself is stunning. A great tour.
