Greetings from Vienna - the Austrian federal capital and a wonderful city, that is considered to be the most livable city in the world for the tenth(!) time in a row according to annual Mercer's quality of living ranking. By the way, in August 2018, "The Economist" came to the same conclusion. The city of dreams, the city of music, the capital of a former great Empire! Let me introduce myself. My name is Elena and I have had quite a few occupations in my life like, for example, interpreter for business negotiations or medical translations. But the greatest fun I had was while working as a guide during my study at the university (Philology and German Studies)! So a few years ago I made a decision to return back to the roots and to devote myself again to this wonderful job, that is at the same time my passion and my hobby! I enjoy all these experiences, like meeting people coming from different corners of the world, visiting the most beautiful places of the country with them, sightseeing, showing them the precious museum collections, etc. All this definitely belongs to the most wonderful life experiences and brings me unforgettable impressions. I would help you to understand the moods and the soul of the Austrians, would explain to you the huge and complicated historical background of this country in a delightful manner and not like a boring lecturer, never forgetting that you are on your holidays! So my informative entertainment is full of funny stories and anecdotes. Even the kids find enjoyment visiting my excursions and tours! Being a very sensitive and tactful person it is very important for me, that you feel yourself comfortable all the time, so I am flexible and tailor the tours very individually for you. I would appreciate it very much if you would consider me as your Austrian guide and become my guests in Vienna! I will do my best to make your stay in this country an unforgettable experience for you and your family! I would attain my goal if you have a warm feeling in your heart with lots of amazing and beautiful memories thinking back about your tour! State certified Austrian Tour Guide I am not a driver but I can accompany you by public transport or I can arrange for a separate car/van/bus and driver.
