Getting to know the former imperial city of Vienna and today's capital of Austria individually and personally tailored to you—this is my goal as your licensed guide and local expert in Vienna! My name is Martha. Although I was born in Upper Austria, I quickly discovered my love for Vienna. After graduating from university in Vienna, I knew I wanted to make this unique city my home. Vienna has it all: impressive and scenic squares, secret alleys, countless art collections in our museums, world-class music, beautiful architecture, and a rich cultural heritage. Before starting my career as a tour guide and running my one-woman agency in Vienna, I lived and worked in many other countries. The travel experiences I've gained from these wonderful journeys form the basis for my flexible and intuitive approach to individual tours. In 2009, I started my own business focusing on personalized tours and cultural programs for small groups, aiming to share what truly fascinates me about Vienna. This city offers an incredible quality of life, seamlessly blending the traditions of the past with the vibrancy of modern life. I believe that travel can be so much more than just a business trip or a sightseeing tour. I completed the extensive two-year course and passed the exam to become a licensed Austria Guide right away. Please note that I am not a driver. Where did the mysterious Habsburg Empress Sisi go for her walks? Which room was Maria Theresa's favorite for relaxing? The baroque garden palace of the imperial Habsburg family is a must on every sightseeing agenda. With this tour, you get an exclusive inside visit to Vienna's most visited sight. Not only the gardens, but especially the former summer residence of the Habsburgs, is a must-see. While exploring this magnificent place, you will learn more about its other imperial inhabitants, such as Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Maria Theresa and her 16 children, including the famous Maria Antonia, who later became the Queen of France. After the palace tour and our private visit to the imperial apartments, we will stroll through the gardens laid out in baroque style and discover the highlights of the park area. These include the Neptune Fountain, the view up to the Gloriette pavilion on top of the hill, and the beautiful flower ornaments.

My personal highlights include: • the Imperial summer palace Schönbrunn • a guided tour of 20 magnificent highlight rooms • a walk through the impressive baroque gardens I have planned a route for us that allows us to easily reach all these highlights on foot. In any case, I will of course always adapt the tour to your individual wishes and preferences. Personal recommendations for restaurants, my favorite coffee houses, and other exciting discoveries will be given to you at the end of our tour. If you want to stay longer in the Schoenbrunn Palace area I suggest to book the apple strudel show at Café Residenz or visit the outstanding carriage collection at Wagenburg Schoenbrunn.
