Hello and welcome, I would be most happy to show you my Vienna: Elegant, full of art and history and at the same time a vibrant and very livable city in the heart of Europe. There are impressive and scenic places to show, countless stories to tell, surprising connections to make. Architecture, famous personalities, the changeable fortune of the city but also the small and "typical" details do make Vienna unique for me. This is exactly why I decided to become a guide. After majoring in political science and German philology at the University of Vienna and many years working for European Union programs I finally turned my fascination for my hometown into my profession. Having completed a two-years training course I passed the Austrian state examination for tourist guides in 2017 and since then I have been a full-time guide offering inspiring tours in the city as well as in many museums. Becoming a guide has been the best decision in my professional life. I simply love sharing my knowledge of Vienna and my enthusiasm for this city with visitors from all over the world and I gladly adjust to the interests of my guests. I focus on overview and themed walking tours as this is the best way to explore and discover the town. From the famous squares to the hidden corners - let's do it together! Licensed Austria and Vienna Guide Masters degree in political science and German language and literature, University of Vienna I am not a driver guide and I focus on walking tours. If wished, I can accompany you in your vehicle or arrange for a separate car/minivan and driver. The price for a car and driver is charged extra.

Come and join me on a time journey encompassing over 2000 years: From the splendid 19th century Ring Boulevard to magnificent imperial buildings mirroring Vienna's important status in Central Europe's past, encounter medieval Vienna and see remains from Roman times. The Hofburg Palace was the main residence of the Habsburg dynasty rulers until 1918. We explore one of the biggest palace complexes in the world from outside. Michael's Square next to it has a long history and is a point of attraction for its architectural ensemble from different centuries and excavations presenting various layers of Vienna's history. Via the elegant Graben square, we head for the main landmark of the city and Austria's most important gothic structure: Saint Stephen's Cathedral. In the scenic quarter adjacent to it, we go back to the time of Mozart and beyond. On this inspiring walking tour I bring the past to life for you and we explore Vienna's city center with an open eye for the small and surprising details.
Main sights on the way: - Part of Ring Boulevard - Hofburg Palace Complex, from outside - Michael's Square - Saint Stephen's Cathedral and the area adjacent to it. **Note: This tour can be customized due to your preference, please ask me for a quote, and I will send you a customized tour for booking.
