Ahoj! Hello and welcome to Bratislava! I'm Daniela and I can't wait to guide you around my hometown. Bratislava is truly a welcoming city! I'm a professional, licensed tour guide experienced in day city tours and I offer you Bratislava city sightseeing tours from the perspective of a local. As a native of Bratislava, I can offer you a good mix of interesting and funny facts about my country and city. The biggest advantage of Bratislava is its accessibility. The vast majority of key attractions in its compact center are within walking distance of each other. I'm also delighted to share my passion for delicious local food, beer and wine on one my tasting tours. Slovak cuisine is dominated by meat (especially pork), potatoes, dumplings and sauces. On Traditional Food Tour, you will get to taste Slovak's best and most unique dishes like Treska v majonéze, Kapustnica, Bryndzové halušky and of course Kofola (local coke)! Bratislava takes its beer just as seriously as its more famous neighbor Prague, and a new wave of independent microbreweries and pubs is putting the city on the beer drinkers map. Craft Beer Tour offers a beer experience where you can learn about local brewing while tasting 10 different Slovak Craft Beers. But also, some Slovak crisp, fresh rosés and white wines have regularly been highly appreciated in international wine competitions. And Wine Tasting Tour is a great way to experience and find out more about Slovak wines, in the relaxing atmosphere of a cozy wine bar. I know your time in Bratislava is precious and that you want to get the best of the city while you're here. That's why I want to deliver exceptional tour experiences that not only give you a local insight into the history, heritage and culture of Bratislava but also take you to really get under Bratislava's skin, revealing local culture & life here today as well as the remarkable stories, sites & sights. I'll happily give you the best insider knowledge about what's happening in the city, what to see & do in Bratislava after your tour, local hints & tips for getting the most out of your time here. All my tours can be altered and tailored to meet your specific requests thus ensuring your time here in Bratislava is fun, enriching and maximized to its full potential. Please feel free to drop me a line through the message button and let's get planning your visit to Bratislava. Certified Tour Guide | PhD. in Soil Microbiology | First Aid Certificate None

Explore Bratislava's rich history and culture on a Day Trip from Vienna. Discover magic of the medieval streets of Bratislava's Old Town, Bratislava Castle, the Slavin War Memorial and the blue Art Nouveau church of St. Elizabeth. I'll happily give you the perspective of the city that played a major role in Slovakian history all over the centuries. Panoramic drive is also included to get an opportunity to see the Presidential Palace, the Slovak Radio Building (an upside-down pyramid) and, most importantly, to get stunning views of the city from Castle Hill. I want to deliver the best insider knowledge about Bratislava's rich history to fully understand the city, it's past and even the beginning of Slovakia as a country. Let me show you the beauty of Bratislava and I'll make sure that you'll leave with the will to return!

If you want a contrast to the sights and ways of Vienna, a day trip to Bratislava offers that contrast barely an hour away. Our guide Daniela and driver Daniel were able to give us a informative background into Slovakian history, culture and food that was friendly and interesting. Unlike Vienna's neutrality in the Cold War, Slovakia and Bratislava was part of the East Bloc, cut off from Western Europe, developing and evolving quite differently. We saw sights from medieval and Hapsburg times all the way to the Communist era and after. It was an insightful day and we were glad to have Daniela and Daniel sharing it with us.
Fantastic day trip from Vienna and great way to see Bratislava if you want an introduction to Slovakia's capital or only have a shorter period of time to visit Bratislava. The team of Daniel and Daniela made the whole trip easy, interesting and informative. Their knowledge and passion for not only Bratislava, but also Slovakia and the similarities and differences across all the neighboring countries made for a great day.
Could not have been better. Drive to Bratislava: SO interesting talking with the driver. Just a superb journey. Guide: experience, kindness. Wonderful. Thank you!
This is a tour well worth taking. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and well prepared. We visited several sites throughout the city. With her commentary and the photo binder she had at her disposal, we felt as if we had gotten a good overview Bratislava's history and culture..We highly recommend Daniela's tour!
Our tour, tag teamed by Daniela and Daniel, made for a wonderful day in Bratislava. We learned so much about, not only Bratislava but also Slovakia. They had so much information to offer about their beautiful country and it’s resurrection after the “Cold War” ended. They were very flexible and accommodated our needs and wishes. It was very interesting to see the contrasts between Vienna and Bratislava thanks to their guidance.
