The Wachau Valley tour from Vienna

The warming weather matched the mood of our day trip to the Wachau Valley with Susanne W. My wife and I spent an engaging and lively day with Susanne, covering the Valley's long history and culture not to mention some delicious Austrian wine! Suzanne's insights and familiarity with the Valley helped us get the most out of our day, and as we headed back to Vienna, Suzanne assisted us with a couple final stops in Vienna to maximize our final hours in Vienna before returning home. Our driver Fred did a great job as well. We recommend you spend time with Susanne when in Vienna.

Suzanne was a wonderful guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour so interesting and so much fun. She helped us appreciate the charm of the towns outside of Vienna and especially the Benedictine Abbey at Melk as well as the magnificent scenery of the Danube Valley.

Vienna is a great city, but we did not feel like we really met Austria until we did this tour. Susanne was an excellent guide and was both knowledgable and willing to answer our many questions. The villages we visited were well worth the time, the boat trip on the Danube was relaxing and fun and the Melk Abbey is a one of kind site where memories are made. I heartily recommend this tour for anyone staying in Vienna.

We experienced a wonderful day in the Wachau Valley thanks to Susanne. She is very professional and friendly. She was very prompt and flexible in customizing our tour because we are photographers and requested her to do so. We learned a lot about the area and its history while capturing amazing images. Susanne was excellent in providing a pace where it was a very enjoyable day. She made arrangements for us to have a nice lunch also. She saw to every detail for our day and we certainly had fun, created some wonderful memories, captured the scenes all around us and made a new friend. We can highly recommend Susanne!

We were fortunate to be able to book tours with Susanne three days in a row. The trip to Wachau Valley was our last and was a true delight. Susanne had the day perfectly organized from beginning to end, yet we never felt rushed. We enjoyed the drive (kudos to Fred for excellent driving). We loved the boat ride and lunch on the Danube and the Melk Abbey. It was great to get out to the countryside. If you need to change your travel dates in order to book Susanne as a guide, do it! It is so worth it! A+++++

Had a nice day with a private driver in a very comfortable vehicle that Susanne arranged. Exploring the Wacahau wine region was very interesting..nice wine tastings..also going to Melk and seeing the stunning monastery left a visual impact! Two days used Susanne and would highly recommend. We were a party of 5 and she engaged with each one of us..will use her again when returning to Vienna
