Servus in Wien! Travelling and exploring cultures is one of my passions and I always search the contact with locals. For me this is the most authentic way to understand a culture, to be part of it, even if it is for a short time. On this private tour you will see Vienna by night apart from the tourist track. It is suitable for those who arrive in Vienna in the afternoon and want to enjoy their first evening in the city not bothering about places to go to and about reservations. It will also give you the first impression and orientation in the city. Our itinerary depends on the season and your interests. My favorites are: • Watching the sunset from the Danube riverside; • An evening at a Heuriger (a tavern, where the wine grower offers his own wine, typical Viennese food is served and very often Viennese folk music is performed live); • The atmosphere of the Christmas markets in November/December; • The illuminated majestic buildings on the Ringstrasse; Depending on your preferences, I will show you either fancy restaurants or taverns where the locals go or bars and night clubs and at any case places with a beautiful view over the city. A sense of humour complements my narrative, helping to ensure a fun and enriching experience.
We took the option to go the Vienna Woods to the west of the city. A beautiful walk through the park to an amazing view point to see the lights come on over Vienna. Truly special. And since we hadn't eaten, we ended the tour at a local tavern where we had a great dinner and were able to go upstairs and watch a great local tradition where people gathered to sing traditional songs. Very inviting. A special and unusual tour.

Marieta was a brilliant guide to Vienna. She pitched the information perfectly and was so informative and interesting. she took us through lovely squares and courtyards and altered her tour after she asked us where we had already been. i would thoroughly recommend her
Great experience with Marieta
Marieta did a great job of giving us a quick overview of the history of Vienna. Although we didn't have a lot of time, her 2 hours tour helped us plan our visit in her beautiful city. Highly recommend her!
Marieta is wonderful. She suggested that she take us for a really unique Viennese experience. We embarked on a wonderful unforgettable evening. Looking forward to the adventure we took public transportation to Vienna's wine producing suburb. Think beer hall but with local wines, local specialty food, traditional music and local folks (some dressed in authentic clothing) out enjoying Saturday night and some unseasonably good weather.
The itinerary depends on the season and your preferences. My suggestion for a summer evening: •explore the Ringstrasse, one of the most beautiful streets in Europe by tram and see its majestic buildings (Opera House, Parlament, Museums, Theater, City Hall and others); •take tram to the wine area of Vienna, may be take a short walk to the vineyards and enjoy the evening at a Heuriger. In winter (Christmas time): •experience the fairy tale Christmas atmosphere in the city and enjoy a cup of mulled wine at one of the Christmas markets.
