What can I do for you: • Walking tours, city tours with your transportation or with a hired car, mini van or bus, special theme tours, museum visits, day tours in Vienna and its outskirts. • Proposals for your tourist program in Vienna/Austria. • Proposals for cultural activities, restaurants, bars, etc. It is my job to propose a program that fits you. With me you will use your time efficiently (e. g. you do not have to stand in line for tickets or search the sights) and get optimal information and directions. I am a Licensed Tourist Guide in Austria (AustriaGuide), member of the Chamber of Commerce Vienna. I do not have a commercial driver's license, but I can arrange a car with a driver.

At the end of this 3 hour tour you will have seen the main places of interest in Vienna; will have information and ideas about entertainment, cultural and culinary spots for further exploration of the city on your own. A sense of humour complements my narrative, helping to ensure a fun and enriching experience.

Marieta was able to manage our group of 8 very well, considering that we had 3 elderly people (2 in their 70's, 1 in his 80's) and 2 teenagers. She was very good in explaining about the buildings/structures we passed by, and how it relates to history. The tour was a good mix of walking and private transportation (the van was very spacious).

By car: - Ringstrasse with its splendid buildings (Parliament, Imperial Court Theatre, City Hall, University, Vienna State Opera, das Kunsthistorische Museum (Museum of Fine Arts) and das Naturhistorische Museum (Museum of Natural History) and others; - Prater with the Giant Ferris Wheel; - river Danube and the Vienna International Center (UNO City); - Hundertwasserhaus , an apartment building decorated by the artist Hundertwasser; - Belvedere Palace, the summer residence of Prince Eugene in baroque style. From the park we will see the beautiful view over the city; - Karlskirche, a beautiful baroque church; - Musikverein, the concert hall where the New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra takes place. Walking: - Hofburg, the imperial residence of the Habsburgs; - Graben to the Pestsäule (plague column); - St. Stephen's cathedral, the city's landmark. Variations of this itinerary are possible upon agreement.
