Hello, and welcome to East Kent! I find local history fascinating and have a wealth of stories and anecdotes to share of my local area. I am also a keen walker, enjoying good strolls in interesting places. Finally, I like a good glass of real beer - in fact I brew my own. Combining these three pleasures, I refer to my tours as ‘TrAles’. They are historical walking tours with ale! We will rest from our walk in traditional English pubs to sample fine ales. If you’re not into ale, don’t worry. You will enjoy the pubs and can select other refreshment. Professionally, I have been involved in science education for many years and still lead professional development opportunities for educators. As a result, I have developed excellent presentation skills, and these should be evident as I lead you on a walking adventure. So, join me for a TrAle in historic East Kent.
