Raymond was extremely knowledgeable and help customize our day as he learned more about our interests. Examples included the Spitfire & Hurricane museum and knowing a pub with sparkling wines from Kent. Would highly recommended. Paul & Liz McOsker

Hi, I'm Ray! My tours offer a fun and relaxed style of bespoke and unique content. I am flexible to accommodate any of your interests and cultural insights. The best way to describe my tours is that I will "hold your hand" for the day, have unlimited photo opportunities and show you those unique and interesting places that only a London Taxi Driver will know. We will drive, walk, laugh and learn. My highest achievement is being a proud father of 4, following that I have been a licensed London Black Taxi Driver since completing the London knowledge in 1987. I studied the knowledge whilst working as a Printer in Fleet Street (home of London's newspaper industry) during the '80s. More recently in 2016, I qualified as a Taxi Guide with the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, studying at the City of London Museum. I was made in London, and have remained a resident Londoner. I love to share my knowledge and passion for this beautiful city that I call home. I have so much to share with you - stories and sites from Roman remain to the current day. I have travelled extensively across the world touring South East Asia, China, Australia, South Pacific, East to West coast across North America, and Europe. As an extensive traveller myself, I feel that I can provide what tourists would be looking for in their experience visiting London. Licensed London Taxi Driver since 1987, license originally issued my the Metropolitan Police of London. Qualified Taxi Guide, issued by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers.

Kent "The Garden of England" as described by Henry VIII, is the oldest county in England, with the most charming countryside and stunning coastline. It is home to approximately 17, 000 listed buildings, and famous for its White Cliffs of Dover. During this tour we will take the Pilgrims walk through the town of Canterbury down to the Cathedral. This is the Church of the Arch Bishop of Canterbury - Head of the Church of England. We will visit Chilham; a quaint untouched village with Tudor houses and a Jacobean manor house. We will then go onto explore the white cliffs of Dover and one of the oldest castles in England, dating back to the Romans. This private tour has something for all ages. Every tour is unique and customized to each individual customer.

Ray was a wealth of knowledge regarding all things England. We learned so much. My husband has some mobility issues and he made sure he could be a part of everything. Fun tour of Leeds Castle, a great lunch in a quintessential English pub, amazing tour of the Canterbury Cathedral. You will not be disappointed!!!
We were a group of 6 who booked a day tour with Raymond while on a port day in Dover. We asked him to set the agenda for the day avoiding the big bus tours and show us unique areas around Dover - Our day was a complete success!! Raymond has a more than comfortable van, a very strong knowledge of history and a sense of humor that was a joy to be around! If you are looking for a guide in this area…look no more and book this guide! Highly recommended by our entire group!
Such a fun day!
We had a wonderful day with Raymond. His knowledge of history as well as architecture is impressive. We went to the Battle of Britain museum which was great. Raymond explained the history of the battle as well as its significance. He then took us to Canterbury where we received an in-depth lesson on the buildings, the writers who wrote there and the architecture. Once we entered the Cathedral, Raymond’s historical knowledge continued. As he did throughout the day, he explained as much of as little as we wanted to learn. We went to the White Cliffs of Dover and viewed them from multiple angles. Quite an amazing sight. Raymond knew we wanted to see Dover Castle but did not want to tour it. Thus, he found an amazing viewpoint for pictures and a history lesson. We would recommend Raymond for tours throughout England. He truly cares about making your experience yours and enjoyable.
Raymond was an excellent driver! He was extremely knowledgeable about the countryside as we were driving. His knowledge of Canterbury Cathedral was amazing! We were given a full historical series of events that happened at the church! His enthusiasm was contagious! He also brought us to a beautiful seaside town that we were able to explore and have authentic fish and chips lunch! I would highly recommend Raymond as a tour guide!
