Full Day Leeds Castle Tour, Canterbury Cathedral and White Cliffs of Dover tour

Hello, my name is Gary, as a Dovorian I was born in Dover and have spent my entire life living in the villages around Dover never more than 4 miles from the iconic White Cliffs. As a young boy growing up in the countryside I have fond memories of playing on the beaches and pretty coves around Dover. Re-enacting battles with my mates in the moat at Dover Castle & exploring the miles of old military tunnels beneath the White Cliffs of Dover. I'm family man first, I'm blessed with a wonderful wife, 2 beautiful daughters, 3 precious grandchildren & 1 more on the way! I spent my early years working in the construction industry and have always had a complete love of buildings and their architecture and how people live and work in them. Dover has some of the finest medieval buildings in England and of course surrounded with pretty Kentish villages & seaside towns. Like many things in life, I didn't plan to become a tour guide. In truth after a back injury (I'm fine now) I needed to reinvent myself. I decided to become a driver, I got all the right qualifications & licenses, a vehicle and set up my own business taking people to the airports for their holidays. I remember bringing a wonderful couple from their Central London hotel to Dover Cruise Terminal for their cruise, we were a little early so they asked "could you show us around" I can honestly say that was the moment I realised just what I wanted to do! My Light Bulb Moment! Since then I've committed to become the best private tour guide I can be. I've developed excellent relationships with Leeds Castle, Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral and more. From 2022 I will be an accredited tour guide at Canterbury Cathedral so I will be able to personally guide you. As a local I can take you to the best places to get the most from your day. My vehicle is a luxury Mercedes-Benz V Class, with 7 leather seats, fully air-conditioned and I always have a plentiful supply of complementary cooled bottled water. I'm happy to collect you from your Dover hotel, Dover Priory Train Station or Dover Cruise terminal & I can return you to your cruise ship at the end of your tour, or if you're leaving your cruise and want a transfer to your Central London hotel with a private guided tour en-route that would be fine too. Many of my clients like to be collected from and returned to their hotel in London for a day tour out of London.
