I was born and raised in western Turkey but have been living in Istanbul for the past 20 years. Isil was called on to give us a tour when another TBL backed out with less than three days notice. She was wonderful! We saw the showstopping attractions of the Old City. She gave us a lot of historical and religious background of what we were seeing. She was friendly and fluent. While I will not name the TBL guide that backed out on us, she was a real addition to...
