Hiring Cicek elevated the experience. What I found fascinating was learning about Turkish & Muslim culture from a local. The history here - the collision of east and west, old and nee. Greeks to Romans to Ottomans. Remarkable. Cicek is knowledgeable and warm. She is adaptable to suit your needs as we found. Thank you Cicek for an unforgettable experience.

Cicek was a super knowledgeable and engaging guide. We had a fantastic two days with her seeing all the iconic sites and more. We also learned a lot of Turkish like and culture. She had to pivot some plans due to the Istanbul Marathon but we still saw everything. Highly recommended!!

5 stars are not enough stars for this guide. Cicek went way above in giving us a spectacular tour of Istanbul over 2 days. She shifted our plan to make it easier for us. She showed us a side of Istanbul that has made our trip! If anyone we know ever comes to Istanbul, we will highly recommend her!!

Highly recommend this 2 day walking tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our guide and all of the sites. So much history and beauty in this wonderful city.

Our group of 4 was a bit challenging due to our varied interests and backgrounds. That said, she did an excellent job tailoring the tour on the fly to satisfy my fascination with the history of the old city and the shopping passions of the wives. We were able to get some fantastic photos and found a Persian Restaurant for dinner the second night and the 3 Persians in our group were able to share some insights on Persian cuisine. It was clear to me that she has a solid grasp on the history of the city.
