A perfect day in Istanbul

Mine T is excellent. Great walking tour of the old town area. Her knowledge of the Palace and Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque is incredible. Very much enjoyed our day with her.

From the moment we met Mine, it was clear that we were going to experience Istanbul rather than simply tour it. She is quite literally a walking encyclopedia, with an extraordinary depth of knowledge about the history, culture, architecture, and religions that have shaped this remarkable city. More importantly, she has the ability to bring that history to life in a way that is engaging, conversational, and easy to understand. Throughout the day, Mine provided context and stories that gave us a much greater appreciation for what we were seeing. She continually connected the past with the present and answered our endless questions with enthusiasm and remarkable insight. What made the day especially memorable, however was Mine herself. She was warm, personable, flexible and genuinely interested in making the experience our own. We concluded our tour sitting at a local cafe and by then it felt like we were saying goodbye to a good friend. We came away having seen an incredible amount of Istanbul, but more importantly, understanding and appreciating it in a way we never could have without her. Mine was the highlight of our time in Türkiye, and we would recommend her without hesitation. If we are fortunate enough to return to Istanbul, we would seek her out again.

Highly Recommended, one of our all-time favorite guides!!! Mine (pronounced ~Mee-neh) has exceptional, in-depth knowledge across an amazing range of subjects. She is very fluent in English, catching subtle humor, and is enjoyable to be with. She tailored each of our four tours into exactly what we wanted, answered all our questions, and took good care of us. Mine will be top on our list when we return to Turkey.

Mine was a terrific tour guide. She adapted our tour at the last minute to fit in somewhere we wanted to see and took out something we were not keen on visiting. All of us in our party (4) would recommend her without qualification.

Mine is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell she enjoys sharing her knowledge. We saw everything we wanted to see packed into our short stay in Istanbul. We wouldn't have been able to do it without her.
