Welcome! My name is Mohamed, I am a native of Tangier, born and raised in my hometown, I have seen it grow, expand and develop to become what it is today. I am curious by nature to discover facts which help understand the reality of nowadays and the historical events which brought this city to its reputation of a corner of bohemians, artists and anybody looking forward to disconnect. I have accomplished my studies in Tangier, majoring in Tourism, and then I followed up with a bachelors degree in Law and a Masters degree in International relations. I have a weakness for History, I believe if we are able to see through various historical events at the same time from an objective perspective, we could enjoy it a lot more. My intention is to bring visitors to feel closer to our culture and understand how the Moroccan feels about past and present situations. Government licensed guide None

Absolutely fascinating experience! Mohamed is a master of making the history of Tangiers come to life. All four of us learned more than we could have imagined possible. He took us through the most beautiful back streets which we would never have found by ourselves. Old Tangiers is magical. We highly recommend having Mohamed reveal it for you.

It was a great tour with a lot of political and cultural history. As Mohammed is very knowledgable, he could give us many insights. The whole tour you could sense that he grew up in this neighborhood and feels at home, so following him made a feel very comfortable in the Kasbah. Thanks for the great 4 hours in hometown 😃

Mohammed was absolutely wonderful! He is extremely knowledgeable and everyone in Tangiers knows Mohammed! He is definitely the Mayor:) He has an extensive knowledge of the history of Morocco, which helps when you are seeing the country for the 1st time.
