Hamid is the Mayor of Tangier. I had a friend in Pebble Beach CA at MPCC. They called him the Mayor because he knew everyone and the club seemingly revolved around him. Hamid displayed the same genuine experience in and around Tangier. He knows his history and has an intimate grasp of the city. We saw many features that were certainly missed by the mass tour from our cruise ship. You would be in good hands touring with Hamid.

This was our first time to Morocco and Hamid was the perfect guide. Him and his driver took great care of us. My wife and I came with our small child and felt incredibly safe. We were able to see and learn so much about the city in just one day. Hamid was very accommodating of our requests and we still managed to see everything on the itinerary.

Actually, my wife and I did this tour with Hamid in 2016, and we delighted to find him on your service so that we could share the experience with our daughter. Hamid grew up in the very area of the tour. It is obvious that he is very well known and respected in the quarter. He was respectful of our ages and limits. We enjoyed ourselves very much. There are a couple of stops to see favored vendors, but you know what they are--and you probably want to see their wares anyway. The lunch restaurant was wonderful. Very touristic but you are only in town a short time and you get a big opportunity to taste a pretty full Moroccan menu for a very good price. We personally appreciated the visit to the synagogue. It was just a wonderful tour.

Hamid provided a wonderful tour of the city of Tangier, covering many of the neighborhoods and sights via a very clean, comfortable and air-conditioned van. He was very knowledgeable and informative, and set the pace to match our preferences. We made several stops and learned much from Hamid. The walking portion of the tour - the Kasbah and Medina - was particularly delightful. Hamid grew up there and knows everyone! We got a wonderful taste of Tangier with Hamid. His pre tour communication was excellent - with suggestions and recommendations about the ferry from Spain. He and his driver were professional and courteous. and amiable. Hamid tailored the tour as we went, depending on our preferences and conversations, for example, we added a stop to the synagogue in Tangier. He added In addition to the history and grandeur of the sites in Tangier, Hamid also pointed out the parts of the city used in filming the "Bourne Ultimatum" . We experienced a very tasty Moroccan lunch. Overall a great, worthwhile day trip from Spain .

Hamid was our guide for the day in Tangier along with his driver. The van was new and very clean. His driver was courteous hopping out quickly to open doors for us even though it wasn’t necessary. Hamid communicated perfectly well as to where we will find him on arrival from the ferry. He was very flexible with our day - omitting what we didn’t care to do and adding stops we wanted to do. As we left a mall where we did a bathroom stop, I saw a Pandora sign outside. I asked if I could please go back in to find Pandora to see if I could buy a “Monaco “ charm as I collect them from all countries I visit. He got his driver to find another entrance and in no time I had my charm. Hamid grew up in the Medina and the entire maze was his “back yard”. He knew dozens of local people (friends) there as we shopped. You could tell they were very fond of Hamid. He knew what I was interested in and knew the shops I needed. In the large winding pathways I could never have found the type of shops I wanted alone. He took us for traditional dishes at lunch time We did not want a long camel beach ride so last minute arranged a short version. His English was very good and the history he shared showed his love for his home. We have upcoming guides for Barcelona and Paris and hope they are as personable and as knowledgeable as Hamid.
