Tangier has over 2000 years of history. It has Roman, Portuguese, Moorish. . heritage. This 4-hour tour allows you to understand why Tangier has played such a relevant role in the history of the Mediterranean and beyond. Its geopolitical position on the ancient maritime routes made it a commercial hub and a junction of two continents and civilizations. We begin our exploration of the historic center from the Kasbah citadel hosting some of the iconic buildings of Hispano-Moorish architectural style and Portuguese fortifications. We will continue our walk through the amazing labyrinth of the Medina and the vibrant food and crafts markets. Next we will see the Jewish quarter and Moise Nahon synagogue. For the lovers of traditional food, an authentic Moroccan meal is next on the list!
