Welcome! My name is Mohamed, I am a native of Tangier, born and raised in my hometown, I have seen it grow, expand and develop to become what it is today. I am curious by nature to discover facts which help understand the reality of nowadays and the historical events which brought this city to its reputation of a corner of bohemians, artists and anybody looking forward to disconnect. I have accomplished my studies in Tangier, majoring in Tourism, and then I followed up with a bachelors degree in Law and a Masters degree in International relations. I have a weakness for History, I believe if we are able to see through various historical events at the same time from an objective perspective, we could enjoy it a lot more. I grew up within the walls of this ancient city, which for centuries has kept an eye guarding the Straits of Gibraltar. I will walk you through the gate of the kasbah so you can explore and discover the old quarters of the city and the charm which attracted generations of artists, hippies and anyone who did not know what they were looking for until they found it here.
