Explore Agadir your way

At ToursByLocals, we believe that how you explore is just as important as where you go. That’s why every Agadir tour is private, flexible, and built around you: Move at your own pace, skip the crowds, make connections and follow your curiosity. Find local guides offering private tours in Agadir for every interest, including:

Nature and Wildlife tours: Head to Souss-Massa National Park to watch Northern bald ibis along the cliffs and walk dune paths to the Oued Massa estuary with a birding guide. On warm days, you can add Paradise Valley for a short hike and a dip in natural rock pools among palm groves.

Off The Beaten Path tours: Stop in the fishing village of Tifnit for mint tea with a family and a look at cave homes carved into the shore, then drive inland to see a restored hilltop granary like Imchguiguiln near Ait Baha. Your tour can also visit small argan oil co-ops on quiet backroads to learn traditional pressing by hand.

Art and Culture tours: Navigate Souk El Had with help to find quality Amazigh textiles and woodwork, then visit the Musee du Patrimoine Amazigh for silver jewellery and regional crafts. Add a simple cooking class to make a chicken-and-preserved-lemon tagine, and ride the cable car to Agadir Oufella for photos by the old kasbah walls.

The beachfront promenade is easy to walk, but sights are spread out and day trips sit well beyond the centre. Petit taxis and buses help in town, and you can ask your local guide for chauffeured tours or private transportation for longer routes.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all itinerary, you can tailor your private tour to match your interests, pace and personality with a local who knows Agadir inside and out.

Day trip ideas from Agadir

From Agadir, you can branch out to surf towns, palm-filled valleys, and old walled cities close by; day trips from Agadir are easy to plan, and tours can lean into beaches, markets, or wildlife.

- Taghazout: Ride up the coast about 25 kilometres to a laid-back surf village with consistent waves, cafés facing the water, and a simple coastal path; it suits first-time surfers, sunset chasers, and anyone who wants a slow day by the Atlantic.

- Paradise Valley: Head into the Atlas foothills for short walks, rock pools when water levels allow, and low-key cliff jumps; it fits swimmers, hikers, and photo fans who want a nature break without a long drive.

- Taroudant: Explore a compact, walled city known for adobe ramparts, spice-scented souks, and small craft workshops; it’s great if you like history, street photography, or picking up rugs, leather, and argan oil at a relaxed pace.

- Souss–Massa National Park and Sidi R’bat: Scan dunes and estuaries for birdlife, including the northern bald ibis in season, and wander quiet beaches and fishing caves; this suits wildlife watchers, walkers, and anyone who prefers wide horizons to crowds.

- Essaouira: Make a longer day for sea air, a blue-and-white medina, and working harbour scenes with plenty of fresh seafood; it works well for music lovers, art shoppers, and travellers who like a breezy beach town with easy walking streets.
