The city of Tangier is known for its architecture, especially its Kasbahs. A kasbah is an old fortified building that serves as a home for merchants who conducted business with European countries. Tangier is also famous for its seafood and poultry dishes, such as fish cooked in spices and chicken cooked in honey. Additionally, Tangier is known as a religious center; it is home to many mosques and churches that are decorated with beautiful mosaics and art work. In about 5 hours, we will transport you all over this great city and will allow you to set the parameters as to where you would want to exit with your guide and you will have the ability to choose the parts of Tangier you would like to focus more or less. Or... you can leave the route and itinerary completely to us. For our guests in southern Spain! We inform you that the ferries are your best way to make it to Tangier, as the ferry crosses the strait in 1 hour to Tangier city port near the old town.
We enjoyed the tour very much. Said communicated well and provided historical and social background for the areas we visited. The van was comfortable and on time for pickup and drop off at the cruise port. He organized our tour to minimize crowds and wait times and adjusted to our preferences on what to see and do. I definitely recommend him.
Having used ToursByLocals for years all over the world, this was the most incredible introduction to a City and its Country! Said is an incredible knowledgeable guide with the most wonderful personality I ever encountered! No matter the subject - History, economics, society, story telling, agriculture, food...he had an answer to all of my questions! He was on time to pick me up with a new van and a great driver, good communication prior to pick up and after a short time touring together he understood my quest of learning all about his City and Country. He found the best balance between exploring by car the outskirts of Tangier and some of its highlights and walking extensively in the Old Town Area. Before we began exploring Old Town and the Kasba, he surprised me with a short camel ride at the beach - fun!! Touring the Old Town and Kasba on foot was a incredible experience and we stopped for the best coffee ever at a historic bohemian coffee place followed by a wonderful authentic lunch! Said is a gem and you will be in awe of him the way I was!
Said was great! He took Ilya to some really great places and knew his way in the souks where we purchased some great authentic handcrafted items. Would highly recommend.

Their knowledge about Tangiers was impressive !!! I would highly recommend if you are in Tangiers to use them . They were worth every penny !!!
