Bazaar and Souks of Tangier Private Tour

This was an informative tour led by a knowledgeable guide who found us good food, interesting shopping experiences and introduced new cultural points of view.

Abdelmoghit was amazing!!! My husband and I took the 5 hour tour with our children (ages 11, 8, and 3), and it was perfect! Everyone he introduced us to was so kind, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and teach us about this beautiful city. We were worried about bringing our stroller for all the stairs and narrow streets, but he assured us it wouldn't be a problem, and every single place we went with stairs, whether it was 3 or 30, he had friends ready to carry my toddler in her chair while she giggled with delight! He was also amazing at keeping us away from any overly aggressive salespeople, and took us to see truly unique and handcrafted pieces. We will be recommending him to all our family and friends!

Excellent, must-do tour of Tangier. We took an early morning ferry and promptly met Abdelmoghit and his driver (I apologize as I forgot his name but he was excellent). We drove through the city seeing beautiful sites, stopped for a tea and pastry, rode a camel then walked the city where we visited an ancient market and had a perfect lunch overlooking the entire city. The entire time, Abdel shared wonderful information about his city and country and was very engaging to talk to. I have a newfound respect for the country and highly recommend Abdel as a tour guide.

Abdelmoghit is awesome. He's calm, warm, patient, and a good listener. He told us he was a grade school teacher when he was younger, and it shows. He taught us so much about the history, culture, and society of Morocco and especially Tangiers. He took us to great shopping opportunities without us feeling like he was forcing us into his cousin's business, and when I started running out of energy, he wisely got us a cactus fruit, and I snapped back to it (Moroccan Gatorade!).

We booked Moghit through ToursByLocals for a four-hour city tour of Tangier (11a-3p). He met us at the cruise port with a sign bearing our names. Moghit's English is excellent and he seems to know everyone in Tangier. He took his time - in fact, we got more than five hours with him - and we got a very good idea of daily life in Tangier. Moghit is highly educated and we had some great conversations, but he also gave us plenty of time to ourselves. He was very refined and intelligent. Highly recommended.

Wir haben beschlossen uns einen kundigen, gebildeten Führer zu suchen und sind auf Herrn Abdelmoghit gekommen. Wir wollten eigentlich einen deutsch sprechenden Begleiter haben, aber die Agentur konnte keinen anbieten. So sind wir dabei geblieben und es stellte sich heraus , das Herr A. auch gutes Deutsch versteht und spricht. Die Tour war nicht günstig, aber wurde für uns zugeschnitten und unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt. Danke für die interessante Tour
