Chefchaouen is originally a berber Word composed from two words: Chef, that means in our berber dialectic Look, and Chaouen, that means Horns, for a reason that is localised between two tops of mountains. Founded in 1471by Moulay Ali Ben Rachid. The cultural heritage of Chefchaouen is strongly present nowadays. The first thing that will attract the visitors is the quiet clean and tidy streets and blue buildings. You can feel an easy breath, it's so clean and no pollution exist here. Habid was very knowledgeable and our group of ten really enjoyed our tour. It was quite a drive either side to get to this beautiful place for us, it truly was well worth it. We were taken to a lovely local restaurant for lunch which was nice. Thanks again Habid for a very memorable day.
Hamid was wonderful and it was great to have someone from Chefchaouen who knew so many people in the Blue City. We learned a lot and I got some great pictures.
We were very happy and satisfied with our guide Hamid. He was friendly, polite, considerate and quite charming. We had the opportunity to enjoy Chefchaouen to the most.
It felt like Hamid knew Chefchaouen like the back of his hand, which of course is true considering he lives there! He has great knowledge of the history, local specialties, and best spots for taking pictures. We would book another tour with Hamid again. Also, a special shout-out to Mustafa for excellent driving skills.
The tour day will start from Tangier driving two hours and a half at 9:00am, of course we will take a pause for facilities and may be a drink. The mountains of Rif are amazing , the highlights during our trip are so varied between the Virgin nature and berber towns The full day tour of Chefchaouen is really wonderful , The medina here is a small town of blue washed housses, it's quiet and pretty. I promise you a nice visit by the locals, we can share moments with local berbers too, people here are so friendly and open minded. The tour includs the moorish neighborhoods and the famous spots in the médina then After our walk, we will get the panoramic view of all of the city from other side at Rass el M'a underground spring of watter. in same Time it is the best refuge here. Let's discover the coolest blue pearl. Our tour will end at the beating heart Square outta Al Hammam for food and free time to look for any needs. Then back to Tangier . Thanks.
