Guide #415
I'm guide on Toursbylocals from 2011...MAMMA MIA!!!! Dear Friends, it's nice to introduce myself to you; I am a guide of Rome, and I do my profession with enthusiasm, I like to meet different persons every day and show you the beauty of Rome, sharing Rome's secrets. I was born and raised in Rome, and proud to be a local, since I really am. Specialized in Art & History, but, I like to consider myself a storyteller, and like to explain how and why a site or a monument is made, being not boring and always smiling at you. Rome is an incredible experience; let's make this unforgettable I have a degree in art & history ( Ph.D. Rome - La Sapienza ), and an Official guide, but I am in the business for more than 20 years and I am following the family tradition of sharing experiences with my friends. Started when I was young, but, I am still young, Rome and a good glass of wine keep us in good shape. Official Guide of the Vatican Museum I am an official guide of the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica and Sistine Chapel. Official Guide of Rome Official SMILE DISPENSER...... In the future I'll be the NEW GLADIATOR but I am still working for it..... NO restrictions Remember that all the experiences can be customized. A big CIAO from Max, hope to see you soon!! Jubilee 2025 - NEWS Due to the Holy Year from December 24, 2024 up to January 06, 2026 During this time frame st. Peter's Basilica could be closed to the public without notice If my calendar seems full, don’t hesitate to contact me anyway. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Massimiliano (Max!) was so wonderful. This was our second tour with Tours by Locals in Rome, and we had the best time! He was wonderful with my little kids (ages 4 and 1) and kept things fun and interesting for them too. We covered a lot of ground and information but didn't feel over-whelmed or exhausted (physically or mentally!) at the end. Highly, highly recommend....

Massimilliano went above and beyond in our tour of the Vatican. He provided us not just with facts, but with stories, jokes, and an extremely beautiful history of the Vatican and its place in Rome. Massimilliano took pictures of us, answered all of our many questions, and left us with not only a desire to return to Rome, but to learn more about it on our own at home! ...

Massimilliano made our visit to Rome unforgettable. Max has such a passion for sharing all his extensive knowledge of the history of Rome. Best tour guide on any of my Toursbylocals tours. I highly recommend any tour with Massimilliano. He really did provide the Best of Rome.
