Hello everyone and welcome to Palermo! My name is Mauro, I was born and raised in Palermo, and I truly love sharing the beauty, history, atmosphere, and soul of my city with travelers from all over the world. I am passionate about art, theatre, architecture, history, and everyday local life. When I visit a place, I always look for what makes it unique and meaningful — not only monuments, but also people, colors, traditions, hidden details, and atmosphere. This is exactly the approach I bring to my tours. Palermo is a city of extraordinary contrasts and cultural influences. Here, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East meet in a unique way, creating an atmosphere you will not find anywhere else. My goal is always to create experiences that are interesting, engaging, enjoyable, and personal — never just a list of dates and monuments. I want you to truly experience Palermo, not simply visit it. I have been an official licensed Tour Guide in Sicily since 2014 and an official Trip Leader since 2010. I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Palermo and a Master’s degree from the University of Udine. I lead tours in English, German, Spanish, and Italian, working with travelers, luxury hotels, and international companies from all over the world.
