Hello! I am Paola, a licensed and officially authorized tour guide in Milan, born and raised in the city. With a strong background in history and art, I design private cultural and culinary tours for travelers who value knowledge, authenticity, and thoughtful experiences. My tours reveal Milan’s layered identity: a modern, dynamic city with a refined and discreet historical core. I guide guests through historic streets and alleys, churches and basilicas, art galleries, canals, and lesser-known corners, combining solid historical context with local insight and carefully chosen anecdotes. Particular attention is given to the Renaissance period and to Leonardo da Vinci, who considered Milan a central place for his life and work. Alongside cultural itineraries, I also offer private food tours, where cuisine becomes a way to understand tradition, lifestyle, and daily life. My experiences are designed for culturally curious, well-traveled international guests seeking depth rather than spectacle. Please note that I can easily arrange transportation for every tour, if you need and it's not yet included. I am a licensed tour leader since 1995. I am a licensed tourist guide since 2010. I studied languages, arts and history. I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Despite the pouring rain in Milan that day resulting in limited time on the terrace, our guide, Paola R, gave us a wonderful tour. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was wasn't her fault that it was raining. She did take us up, but Mother Nature just wouldn't cooperate. I have visited the Duomo in the past, but this was my first tour and it was the best. I...

Yes, next time please let me know, I'm flexible so during the tour whenever you need a break, just tell to the tour guide, as we have people very different and some of then they don't want coffee breaks and similar... usually we are flexible an try to fit to everybody...
