Hello, I am Mauro, geologist, hiking guide and scuba dive instructor. I am Sicilian, but citizen of the world. I am a positive person with a talent to interpersonal relationships. I like meet people and show every beautiful things of my country. I like travel around Europe and discover small towns or villages where the people conserve ours traditions. I like the food and wine tour because it make a relation around the table (The Convivio) or a cooking traditions. When I'm at home, I like to cook for my family and prepare pizza, bread and fresh pasta. I have deep knolwledge of Emilia Romagna and Tuscany and I can show you both. Degree in Geology, Waking guide license, Scuba dive instructor. Tour Leader for Florence Town from march 2018. Hiking guide for West Emilia Regional Park. I do not have a license to give tours inside the Hermitage Museum I am licensed environmental-walking guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments.

We had a marvellous day with Mauro doing the trip at the Dardagna waterfalls, in the Appenins close to Bologna. After an 2 hour trip by car, we arrived at the starting point in the forest. The sounds of nature were astonishing, and when we tought we saw the first waterfall, it actually was just the beginning of the river. Climbing higher and higher accross the rocky...

This was one of the best tours we have had and went well beyond our expectations. Mauro was fantastic from the time I started corresponding with him. He worked with me and altered the base itinerary to meet our needs. We first started at Dosa to see some beautiful frescos and from there we went for an olive oil tasting.
