Berlin is a city of constant changes - come and see it with me! I'll show you the city in a less touristic, more authentic way, with a strong focus on history and memory, while also exploring what's happening nowadays: contrasting the changes in society and culture (and maybe even food if you would like!). A bit about me: I have a strong multidisciplinary background. I came to Berlin 7 years ago for a PhD in Neuroscience, focusing on Psychiatry. However, it's not just my studies that have kept me here. The city's rich history, internationality and unparalleled sense of freedom have all captured my heart. In addition to Neuroscience, I also have a great passion for history and culture, and I'm a post-doctoral researcher in memory studies, researching the history of the place where I work, the hospital, Charité. I love communication with people, guiding, history, and Berlin! I am an official Berlin tour guide (BBS), with a focus on Jewish history (but not only!), and I also give tours in the New Synagogue in Berlin.

Tal was an amazing guide - really knowledgeable and happy to answer our many questions! She introduced us to so many of Berlin's important historical sites with a compassionate telling of some dark moments in history and showed us things we would have missed if we had tried to explore on our own.
