Berlin Behind The Screen and it's Hidden Treasures - Half-day Tour

- The tour starts at Fehrbelliner Platz, a square located in what used to be West-Berlin. Non-descript as it looks, it is steeped in history! Find out why! - From there, we'll venture to Germany's oldest mosque, a building often referred to as the "mini-Taj-Mahal". - Next, we'll explore the hidden treasures of the "Rheingau-Quarter", where there are Tudor-style buildings to be found, lovely cafes, a fabulous fountain amidst a lavishly beautiful square. -Then comes the B-side as we're taking the subway to Kreuzkölln, where we'll hear about a former WW2 bunker that's been converted into luxury homes, plus an astonishingly converted erstwhile hospital, before we hit the banks of the Landwehr Canal with its many tucked-away gems such as the "Berlin-flat-iron", a synagogue with a history that turned from sad to touching, and lastly, we'll wind our way through the edgy jungle of Kreuzberg where the tour ends.
