On Saturday mornings I go to the farmer's market. In spring — asparagus and young radishes. In autumn — ceps and the first walnuts. I choose a wedge of aged Normandy cheese, a dozen Breton oysters. I come back and cook lunch for my wife and daughter. This is how I understand Paris — not through guidebooks, but through the rhythm of daily life. I grew up in the heart of Moscow, in the land of Tolstoy and Tchaikovsky. Literature, classical music, and a deep respect for the kind of culture that takes time to understand — these shaped the way I see the world. I moved to France, studied here, and eventually made Paris my home. I have been a licensed guide since 2006, holding a national guide-conférencier certification issued by the French Ministry of Culture. My academic background is in literature and creative writing — which means I think in narratives, not itineraries. A painting, a room, a street corner — each has a story that most people walk past without noticing. I work with small groups and individuals who travel with intention. People who want to spend an afternoon in the Louvre without feeling rushed. Who prefer a quiet table at a bistro the locals actually go to over a restaurant with an English menu in the window. Who find more pleasure in one well-chosen detail than in a checklist of sights. My tours cover Paris, Versailles, the great museums, and journeys into the French regions — Normandy, the Loire Valley, Champagne, Provence. Each programme is built around your interests, your pace, and the kind of experience you are looking for. If this sounds like the way you travel — write to me. We will find your Paris together.

Anton, pick up our group of 9 at our rental apartment in the Latin Quarter. From there we began walking and seeing the sights . But of course, we also stopped at some amazing bakeries and cheese shops. We purchased enough foods to have a delightful French lunch. We were treated to stories by Anton that kept every one from ages 12 to 76 entertained. The foods...

Anton was a superb guide for me and my two grandchildren, ages 20 and 22! We were to have a walking tour of historic Paris! However, it was a terribly wet and rainy day. Luckily, Anton was super creative and offered to take us on a special tour of Le Louvre---which the grandkids had not yet seen! With his magic, we were able to bypass the 3-4 hour long regular entry...

Our tour of the Louvre exceeded any expectations we had, and the main reason was our guide, Anton Solovev. Though mild -mannered, he showed through his exposition his passion for the arts and the history behind each work of art. I strongly recommend Anton if you are looking to get a very good overview of the Louvre and some of its main pieces of art in a two hour...

Anton was an excellent guide. He showed us parts of Paris that we would never have seen by ourselves. He spoke excellent English and he developed a very good rapport with all four of us. We would recommend him highly as a tour guide.
