Paris Highlights Half Day Walking Tour

Mouna B. was one of the best guides we have ever had and we have hired many Tours by Locals guides. Mouna was very personable, friendly and flexible in tailoring our half day walking tour of Paris highlights. She met us at our hotel and guided us to the metro where she took the time to show us how to purchase Navigo Cards, purchase ride tickets and refill the cards. It was really helpful and made the city much easier to navigate. We toured the city center on a Saturday and Mouna was able to negotiate the crowds to put us in position to see the Louvre and IM Pei's Pyramid, sharing stories of how Parisians initially felt bout the design. We strolled through centuries of history learning about the King's, their Palaces and the many buildings constructed for their Queens. Not only did she share engaging stories, Mouna also shared her favorite patisseries and restaurants as we strolled through each neighborhood. It was a fantastic half day well spent and gave us the comfort to make our way to and around the city center, left bank, Latin Quarter, Le Marais, and Montmartre neighborhoods. If you're only in Paris for a couple of days, it can be a daunting task to experience and see the key sights, learn a bit of history, culture and get useful tips to make your visit a lasting memory. We were blessed to have had Mouna as our guide for a 1/2 day in Paris. She makes sure your time is well spent by asking questions about you and linking your desires to cover as much as possible while sharing meaningful information all on a casual stroll through Paris. Mouna could not have been a better guide even with the rain and a little hail. I got information I never knew. I know how to tell the Paris districts. Her knowledge of historical facts was wonderful. The day started and ended as a great experience.

Our morning with Mouna was a great way to begin our short stay in Paris. Her tour was a combination of practical advice (the general layout of the city, getting around on foot and the Metro, where to eat and shop) and an overview of the history and culture of the city. Over the next couple days we ended up going to a number of neighborhoods and museums she introduced us to or recommended. Mouna was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and her English is excellent.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three hours touring Paris with Mouna. Highly recommend this tour.

Mouna was an exceptional guide! She was very flexible with our plans, and we saw many sights! I would have liked to extend the tour and see many other “off the beaten path” suggestions but unfortunately we didn’t have time! We will be back, Mouna!
