Early morning Vatican City Tour

Silvia gave us a wonderful private guided tour of the Vatican Museums, including the breathtaking Sistine Chapel. She is wonderfully funny and brought the history of the Vatican, the Church, Rome, and Italy to life in a way that was both informative and genuinely entertaining. What stood out most was how her storytelling stayed with us. After leaving Rome for Florence, I found myself recalling the fascinating connections she made, especially about the Medici family, which added even more depth to what we were seeing. Silvia was great. Very knowledgeable and her English was great. She made it easy to understand the art and what was happening in the world that influenced the art. We highly recommend Silvia and also highly recommend going on the early morning tour. We avoided lots of lines which allowed us to see more in the same amount of time.

Sylvia is a wonderful tour guide and I highly recommend her for your tours in Rome. She is a very interesting historian and kept our attention. We also didn’t have to wait in the long lines. We had 2 tours back-to-back. First the Vatican and then sites outside of the Colosseum and ancient Rome. Sylvia is knowledgeable, entertaining and fluent in English. We stayed engaged the entire 5 hours full of historic and modern time facts. Sylvia's way to explain history with a wink and the connecting to the modern times where a delight to listen to.
