The tour ended with us all singing folk songs in the cellar bar of a castle hotel together with an Irish rockstar who happened to be there on the night. It is that mixture of meeting interesting people coupled with the unpredictability of where the highways and byways of Ireland will lead that still fuels my enthusiasm for every tour.
I also did a Masters in Business Studies specializing in Tourism Management but for me the most important "study" before every tour is to "read the audience"! Over the years I have guided many special interest groups from choirs to farmers, from royalty to football teams, from journalists to Ryder Cup winners. My aim is always to find out what makes YOU tick and respond in an informative and entertaining way.
Being a mum of three kids I also know how to show families and younger visitors the sights of Dublin in a fun way. My more unconventional skills include playing an old traditional Irish instrument called the Rythm Bones and the ancient art of making butter. Believe it or not, the two skills can even be combined!! Please join me on a tour of Dublin and I will do my utmost to make it as interesting and personable to all in your party.
Looking forward to meeting you!

Tanya gave a great tour of Dublin to our group of six. She knew a lot of Irish history and told interesting stories. We were extremely pleased with the tour!
