Cuchi Tunnels and Saigon City Tour - Full Day

Cu Chi tunnels are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district which are 65 kilometers North West of Ho Chi Minh City. They are part of a much larger network of tunnels of around 200Km long that is well known nationwide and worldwide. Ho Chi Minh City is also known as Saigon. It was once considered as the Pearl of the Far East and now it is the modern metropolis with more than 10 billion inhabitants. Today the city is the economic center of Vietnam. This is where the heroic resistance against aggressors and the struggling process for independence took place. Experience the local ways of living in the city and understanding old heritage and religious practices in ancient Taoist temple at Jade Emperor Temple. Don't miss out on exploring the key attractions that are synonymous with Saigon identity - the Reunification Palace, the City Hall, the Opera House, its Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral.

- 7:30AM Enjoy a two-hour drive northwest of Saigon, through the southern countryside to the legendary Cu Chi tunnels. Stretching from Saigon to the Vietnam-Cambodia border, the network includes countless trapdoors, entangled living areas, storage facilities and weapons factories, mini military hospitals, command centers and even kitchens. In this tour, you'll explore the life of a Viet Cong soldier underneath the ground. Returning back to center for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we will stop at War Remnants Museum - originally opened in September 1975; it displays old military equipment and other related items from Vietnam War. Afterward, continuing seeing the Saigon Opera House.
