Today I am taking you to discover the most important sights of Saigon, and we will start the day with a visit to Chinatown to taste the real life of the locals. We will visit the local market where you will feel the real rhythm of this city where local merchants and farmers exchange goods transferring them to other places in Vietnam and abroad. Leaving the hustle of the lively market, you will enjoy a visit to Thien Hau Temple, this pagoda is Ho Chi Minh City's spiritual destination and one of the oldest temples in this city but I will show you the shantytowns so that you can fully experience the contrast of the city. To complete our day we will return to the city center with French architectural landmarks: General Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral. Unforgettable events in the war: Rex Hotel, Presidential Palace, On the way we will visit the CIA Building where a photo was taken in 1975 " The Fall of Saigon". * Meet & greet at the Saigon port gate ( you can walk or use shuttle bus from the cruise ship ). * We drive to China town in Saigon, the first stop to discover this town. Going around the town , through the market to know and see about their life. * Continue to Thien Hau temple to know the religion that Chinese people bring it here and how it is affected to Vietnamese people. * Driving to the shanty place to see the contrast of Saigon city between: the stilt houses - the skyscraper. * Go back Saigon center with landmarks: Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, City Hall…These buildings in the past are still kept telling us how old Saigon is.
