Overview of your Ho Chi Minh City tour

Cu Chi tunnels are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district which are 65 kilometers North West of Ho Chi Minh City. Having Lee as my guide was an amazing experience. From the time he picked me up from the airport, it wasnt even on the tour package, he made me feel like meeting an old friend. His professionalism and passion for his work touched me deeply. His bright personality is a perfect fit for the work he does. You can feel that he is proud of his heritage. His knowledge and passion for Vietnamese history is impressive. I felt well taken care of throughout my tour with Lee. And most importantly he made me felt at home in Saigon. As if im not a stranger. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back someday for a longer stay. There was not enough time to enjoy the snake wine with barbecue rice mice with Lee.

A couple of massive shout outs to Lee: - I was interested in military history and he concentrated on that, including incredible insights from the personal history of his family. - As an amputee, some of the forest ground was pretty rough for me, and there we plenty of steps without handrails (of course !), but Lee was always there making it easy for me or lending an arm for stability. - 7:30AM Enjoy a two-hour drive northwest of Saigon, through the southern countryside to the legendary Cu Chi tunnels. Stretching from Saigon to the Vietnam-Cambodia border, the network includes countless trapdoors, entangled living areas, storage facilities and weapons factories, mini military hospitals, command centers and even kitchens. In this tour, you'll explore the life of a Viet Cong soldier underneath the ground. Returning back to center for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we will stop at War Remnants Museum - originally opened in September 1975; it displays old military equipment and other related items from Vietnam War. Afterward, continuing seeing the Saigon Opera House.
