Explore the beauty of Saigon City with your local guide

I had visited HCM City several years ago and toured the usual main sites. I requested Khoa to arrange a tour that would show me more of the city and “less touristy “ areas. He did just that! I was picked up promptly at 8 AM and we spent the day on and off his motorcycle going to various places around the city. He used maps and videos on his IPad to help fill in some of the history of the city. We had discussed an itinerary before we started, but Khoa was quick to make adjustments as jet lag and the very hot day began to wear me out by the early afternoon. I had minimal difficulty understanding his English and enjoyed the stops we made. I wish my stamina would have been better to see more of what Khoa had planned to show me. However I am still satisfied with my experience of seeing more of the “real” HCM City. I definitely recommend his services. And if you happen to be a solo traveler, I recommend getting on the motorcycle and riding to more areas and “hidden “ back alleyways! Experiencing the choreography of weaving through dozens of motorcycles , cars, and buses at an intersection with no stop lights was a lot of fun!!

Khoa was a wonderful tour guide. He covered a number of diverse areas including food vendors on houseboats on the river, the expat area by the river, Taoist temple, downtown area, local market, lunch at a modern food court. Presidential palace, history museum, building where arms were secreted before TET offensive. A lot of explanations about the history and current circumstances in Vietnam.

We had an excellent day with Khoa! He showed us so many aspects of Saigon including many places off the beaten track. He was so conscientious to ensure we saw all the sites we were interested in seeing and he was very attentive to our needs. We appreciated all the communications leading up to the tour so there was no confusion on the meeting point and plan for the day. Great guide and driver!!!

Khoa did a great job showing us the highlights of Saigon City. He was always very prompt in responding to questions, was very willing to modify the tour tour interests and met us right outside the port gate. Would recommend him
