Good morning Viet Nam !!!!! My name is Hien. I am a freelancer in Sai Gon and I am original from the Mekong Delta. To pursue my dream becoming a tour guide I have studied language major and get the international license in tourism. I also love to travel and I do understand the meaning of guiding in tourism. It's history, and we are here to learn from the past. I also love to share about the culture and lifestyle of my hometown throughout my experience I was grown up in the Mekong Delta. After the tour, you will have a lot of wonderful things to "put" in your pockets and bring back home!!! Hein gave us a great tour of Saigon. Downtown and especially Chinatown were amazing. Controlled chaos on the streets as cars, people and many many motor bikes zoomed around each other. The other , such as the post office, palace, budda temple and others were also intriguing. Hein also gave us much information about the poliitcs, economy and daily life in Vietnam.It's a long tour from the Phu My cruise ship port but well worth the trip. Thanks, Hein, for a great day
As first time visitors, our guide, Hien, provided us an excellent experience and comprehensive introduction to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Vietnam in general. Among the many positives: + He tailored the itinerary to our interests and made real-time adjustments during the day + In addition to hitting the obligatory highlights we were able to enjoy unique, non-touristy experiences that provided special glimpses into the culture and history of Vietnam + Hien’s combination of in-depth knowledge, passion, professionalism, and friendly/engaging style made us feel like VIPs on an intimate tour with a local family member. Overall, an outstanding experience and the highlight of our time in Vietnam. We highly recommend.
Hien was a lovely guide. We loved to tour with him that day in Saigon. Lots of interesting things to see, was very funnyand interesting.
Hien had a wealth of knowledge (past & present) of Saigon. He immediately immersed us into 'local life' by riding tricyclos to explore the markets. (It was an experience not to be forgotten!); took us for a delicious Vietnamese meal trying many new dishes. Lastly the War Remnant Museum was sobering and impactful. Hien did a great job showing us Saigon and got us from the port and back promptly in a very comfortable van for our group of 7.
Our day started "no problem" as Hein met us outside the terminal gate with our name in big, bold letters. It was the start of a fantastic day in HCMC with Heim. From trishaw rides amongst swirling motorbikes, to hoisting burning incense high on a stick for good luck in a temple, to tasting local coffee on a barge on the river, he kept our day with one incredible experience after another. Along the way, he included some unique surprises! The photos he took of us were top. Great day - book him!

7:00- 8:00 Pick up from the terminal port and drive to the downtown of Saigon. We will hit the local area by three-wheeled Cyclos to visit some of the most famous markets in the business town with the wet market, scooter markets and flower markets . The trishaw around 45 minutes will give you the best stimulating lifestyle experience. Then get back to the center and walk around to explore the highlights of the city with: * The CIA building where one of the last American helicopter landed on the top for evacuating in fall of Saigon 1975. * Central Post Office, Notre Dam Cathedral * Book street * secret bunker house * photo-stop in the front of the independence Palace. * Recommended light lunch with Pho noodles. * Finally visit the War Remnants Museum which displays old military equipment and other related items from Vietnam War. Note: If you have the to do list in Sai Gon, I will customize the tour according to your wishes.
