Khoa is a fine guide who we would recommend. We used him for 2 days. Day 1 was a bit of a challenge as it involved an airport pick-up on a holiday which made logistics tough. Additionally, we had a very particular requirement to return to a store we visited 10 yrs. prior, but he found its new location for us in advance, so success on that front. If you ask for a local restaurant experience, be clear about whether that means "street food" or just "not touristy" as there's a difference.

He tailored the tour to our preferences and we saw many interesting Vietnam War sights (on and off the beaten path). We also wanted bulk bean coffee, so he took us to the local's market and asked around until find the place where the locals buy their coffee.

Your Ho Chi Minh City tour itinerary
- I will meet you at your hotel lobby in Saigon or at Nha Rong port. *Notes : For travelers on the ships docking at Nha Rong port (2km from Saigon city center). I will meet you at the port gate with a sign bearing your name. The port gate is 5 to 10 minute walk from the ship, or, alternatively, you can use the shuttle bus to get to the port gate. Then the tour will visit the following places; - The Unification Palace. - The Jade Emperor Pagoda. - The post office, Notre Dame Cathedral. - The local market, etc. I can customize the tour to fit your preferences. If you wish to dine on Vietnamese food, please let me know. I can recommend you the local restaurant with delicious Vietnamese food at a reasonable price.
