Xin Chào! My name is Xuan. It is pronounced as "soon". It means springtime when all things are fresh and alive. I grew up in the beautiful and majestic Mekong Delta, about 2,5 hours by car from Ho Chi Minh City. As a child I was captivated by the delta's long rivers with its lively floating markets. There are many rice paddies and fruits orchards in the various parts of the Mekong Delta. I enjoyed exploring these interesting places. So, I grew up loving this region and always wanted to show this beautiful part of Vietnam to tourists. I studied tourism in Can Tho University and graduated in 2012. After graduation I moved to Ho Chi Minh City and became a freelance tour guide. It was a dream come true. I love travelling, meeting new people, and exploring new cultures. I have been to several countries in Europe, Asia and Oceania. My travels abroad have re-enforced my desire to be a capable and responsible tour guide. To see the world is to live life to the fullest. Commonly known as "Saigon", Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam; a home to more than 14 million people and 10 million scooters! Although Hanoi in the north is the capital city, Ho Chi Minh City in the south functions as the main economic and financial hub of Vietnam. The city has since risen from the devastation of the war period. We can still see well-preserved colonial buildings and war relics in the city. On the other hand, high rise and modern buildings are making their presence felt. Although the city is chaotic with endless slow-moving traffic, the hustle and bustle of the city do not affect the unique friendliness of the people. An easy greeting of hello in Vietnamese, "Xin Chao" is sufficient to taste the local hospitality. Forget about shopping and must-see-attractions for a while. Let me show you the real Saigon.

Amazing day with Xuan discovering the secrets of Saigon especially the Thien Hau Temple in Chinatown and the "Beverly Hills " of Saigon. Xuan is a wonderful guide with a great personality and we fully enjoyed spending the day with him. Thanks Xuan for a super great lunch of chicken pho, most definitely the best chicken soup we ever tasted. Looking forward to meeting again on our future travels in Vietnam. Xuan we met with yesterday to our all day tour in Saigon. He was Fantastic!! He was not your usual guide he showed us elements and areas of Saigon we would never see on our own....we were amazed. Both the good and bad of Vietnam....it was so educational with Xuan. I highly recommend you to book with Xuan for your guide of Saigon you will be very satisfied. The tour was excellent ! We hit lots of variety in Ho Chi Minh City - getting a very good flavor for the city - its vibe, its history and its culture. Xuan is delightful - fun and interesting - and full of wonderful stories about the city and its people. Highly recommend.
