Xin Chào! My name is Xuan. It is pronounced as "soon". It means springtime when all things are fresh and alive. I grew up in the beautiful and majestic Mekong Delta, about 2,5 hours by car from Ho Chi Minh City. As a child I was captivated by the delta's long rivers with its lively floating markets. There are many rice paddies and fruits orchards in the various parts of the Mekong Delta. I enjoyed exploring these interesting places. So, I grew up loving this region and always wanted to show this beautiful part of Vietnam to tourists. I studied tourism in Can Tho University and graduated in 2012. After graduation I moved to Ho Chi Minh City and became a freelance tour guide. It was a dream come true. I love travelling, meeting new people, and exploring new cultures. I have been to several countries in Europe, Asia and Oceania. My travels abroad have re-enforced my desire to be a capable and responsible tour guide. To see the world is to live life to the fullest. Come and join me in this exciting 2.5-day tour! Explore the vast and ever-busy Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam. Commonly known as "Saigon", this city has since risen from the devastation of war to a fast growing city. We can still see well-preserved colonial buildings and war relics in the city. The second day will be spent at Cu Chi Tunnels which were used during the war. The tunnels are part of an elaborate tunnel system which provided an interesting underground life by the Viet Cong soldiers. Visit the charming town of Ben Tre in Mekong Delta, famous for its picturesque canals and rivers. The delta offers plenty of orchards, fields, plantations and swamplands. This is an interesting tour combining history, culture, and nature! Xuan made our visit to Ho Chi Minh City special, with three well-planned and memorable days. Day 1 was a full-day city tour exploring small alleys and local markets, visiting Thien Hau Pagoda in Chinatown, and driving along a canal that showed the striking contrast between stilt houses and modern high-rises. We also visited the War Remnants Museum and toured the Dong Khoi area, including the General Post Office, passing by Notre Dame Cathedral, the former CIA HQ, the Rex Hotel, and City Hall. Day 2 brought us to the Cu Chi Tunnels, where we saw booby traps and trapdoors and even crawled through the narrow tunnels—an eye-opening experience. Day 3 was a relaxing Mekong Delta tour with a river cruise, walks through fruit farms and villages, a tuk-tuk ride, candy making, a sampan ride, and lunch at a riverside restaurant. Xuan was knowledgeable, engaging, and thoughtful. Highly recommended.

Wow I was impressed with Xuan of his tour if Ho Chin Minh City and the Mekong Delta. Xuan arranged custom plans and private everything. Private boats and Private tours. His ability to tell you the history of South Vietnam is also very impressive. I would recommend Xuan over any other tour guide!
If you are lucky enough to get the chance to book a tour with Xuan then don’t hesitate. We had 2 different tours one of Ho Chi Min City with Ms Hannah (excellent) and 2nd day Mekong Delta with Xuan himself. We saw loads and Xuan was great fun, enthusiastic and very informative. Xuan was great over the three days we were together. The tour was very flexible (pick up, stops, changes) and he is incredibly knowledgeable.
