Good morning Viet Nam !!!!! My name is Hien. I am a freelancer in Sai Gon and I am original from the Mekong Delta. To pursue my dream becoming a tour guide I have studied language major and get the international license in tourism. I also love to travel and I do understand the meaning of guiding in tourism. Enjoy a two-hour drive northwest of Saigon, through the southern countryside to the legendary Cu Chi tunnels. Stretching from Saigon to the Vietnam-Cambodia border, the network includes countless trapdoors, entangled living areas, storage facilities and weapons factories, mini military hospitals, command centers and even kitchens. In this tour, you'll explore the life of a Viet Cong soldier underneath the ground. After lunch, leave the big city behind as the scenery is gradually replaced with rice paddies and rural villages on your drive to My Tho. Board a boat to Ben Tre, where you will go through the impressive islets called Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, and Phoenix. Take a tuk-tuk along the country lanes with palm trees, paddy fields as well as lush gardens and fruit orchards. Stop at a bee-keeping farm for some tea while enjoying the southern folk songs. Hien gives the BEST tours. If you are residing this, book immediately and look no further. He understood what our family wanted and was constantly adjusting the tour to meet our interest. Everything from the car, boat, row boat, tuck tuck was waiting for us when we arrived. We wanted an authentic experience and he took us to a village and restaurant that we were the only tourist. The restaurants were excellent!!! We enjoyed our day so much we added an extra day.

This tour exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Everything was incredibly well organized and thoughtfully planned. Hien was knowledgeable, engaging and genuinely passionate which made the experience even more enjoyable. Hien is friendly, speaks perfect English and just a great guy to be around! It was a long day but we never felt rushed. We had plenty of time to take pictures, enjoy lunch, learn about the history of the tunnels and delta as well as several boat rides. I also appreciated the small details like restaurant recommendations and other things to explore in Ho Chi Minh. I highly recommend this tour. Hien is the best!
We had a lovely and well organised tour. We felt save with him and also with his driver. We would recommend him to everybody as a pleasant person and guide. We had a great time!
No fault of TBL or Hien, our cruise line struggled with the tender process and we were unable to get off the ship in time to make the drive to see the Cu Chi Tunnels. But no problem! Hien was right there to adjust our itinerary and tailor the tour so we could get the most out of our day in Saigon. We started with a ride through the commerce areas on rickshaws, and the drivers would take the time to point out things they wanted us to see. We learned so much about Vietnam, it's history, culture and people. Hien is very proud of his country - and he should be! The visit to Ba Thien Hau Pagoda was truly spiritual. There are war tunnels in Saigon, and Hien made sure we got to see them, along with the stories about the soldiers that used them. We enjoyed seeing the post office and all of the history there. We HIGHLY recommend a tour with Hien!
